The information above is provided by each flight school. All amounts are estimated.

Air Safety:  Air Safety's mission is to provide students exceptional flight training while focusing on safety, quality and customer service through the use of technically advanced Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft. Its goal is to continue to offer the caliber of programs, aircraft, facilities and faculty that make Air Safety a world leader in professional pilot training. Call toll free 888-45-PILOT.

ATP:  ATP students receive airline-oriented flight training at a fixed cost with ATP. ATP students fly with major airline pilots for actual jet flight experience. 95% of graduates from the Airline Career Pilot Program who apply receive a multi-engine flight instructor position with ATP. The company has airline hiring partnership letters with American Eagle, ASA, Colgan Air, Comair, ExpressJet, Pinnacle Airlines, PSA, Republic Airways, Skywest and TSA. These carriers offer reduced flight time requirements (500 TT & 100 ME) to ATP graduates. ** Included in their Airline Career Pilot Program is 25 Jet Aircraft SIM Hours. ATP students with no flight time can complete the Private Pilot program and train through to the Career Pilot program, for a total cost of $63,990 to get to the airlines.

CPS:  Career Pilot School is an FAA Part 141 approved flight school, specializing in providing flight instruction to those aspiring to become professional pilots. CPS employs only the finest flight instructors and prides itself on providing individualized, one on one instruction to its students. The CPS Accelerated Career Pilot Program takes a student from Instrument pilot through flight instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI) ratings in 3 months, logging 290 hours in the process of which 100 hours are true, flown from the left seat multi engine PIC. Students who enter the Career Pilot Program without their Private Pilot License may complete their PPL for an additional $6995.00

DCA:  Jet transitions course is FREE. Provides free round-trip airfare (space available) for two to tour facility. Guaranteed interview for instructor positions at DCA. Guaranteed interview with Delta Connection Carriers and American Eagle. School says 95% of graduates are hired as instructors, who fly 90 to 100 hours per month, accumulating 100 hours MEI time. Instructors receive free and reduced rate air travel on Delta Air Lines.

FSI:  Company states its goal is to instill in its customers an appreciation of the qualities of professionalism and airmanship required to meet Airline Standards. FlightSafety includes in the Professional Pilot Program the Private, Instrument, Commercial Multiengine, Commercial Single Engine, CFI-A, CFII and MEI as well as Unusual Attitude/Spin Recovery, Crew Resource Management, Spatial Disorientation and High Altitude Sign-Off. FlightSafety owns a fleet of 83 aircraft, allowing it to maintain a comprehensive maintenance program. FlightSafety Academy, is an approved school by the Federal Aviation Administration (January 1976); by the U.S. Department of Education; by the U.S. Department of Justice for non-immigrant training (July 28, 1967); is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education; as well as an accredited member, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.

WSA:  Westwind School of Aeronautics takes training for an airline career to the highest levels with structured syllabi, new aircraft with both round gauge and glass cockpits and advanced simulators. It's Airline Pilot Direct Track program includes an Airline Crew Orientation Program using a Boeing 737-800 Flight Simulator. This course was developed by two retired Captains from American Airlines and United Airlines and is actually taught by these two experienced pilots instead of a flight instructor. Upon graduation from the full time program, Westwind guarantees graduates a job as a Flight Instructor starting at $25 per hour. Through programs developed with several regional airlines, some of our students are being offered airline pilot jobs prior to earning their private pilot certificates. Some schools will guarantee interviews and Westwind guarantees jobs. Westwind School of Aeronautics does not require students to sign a trarining contract and they do not require payment up front for training. You will be required to pay for each lesson after you complete it. To learn more about Westwind School of Aeronautics or to arrange a tour, visit their website, email admissions at admissions@WestwindAviation.com or call 480-302-9911.
